Holly is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with Insightful impact, based in south west Sydney who provides services across all of western and south west Sydney. As a NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner Holly provides behaviour support services to individuals within the context of the National Disability Insurance Scheme funded supports. This includes behavioural assessments, behaviour support plan development with strategies and training which fundamentally aim to address the function of behaviour/s in safe and positive manner.
Since commencing work in the disability service sector in 2020, Holly’s growth mindset and empathetic nature has provided her with opportunities to work in Day Program, in home community care, management roles for SDA and SIL group homes. Holly gained experience supporting children in foster care in supervised visits creating case notes, supporting the guardian and child/children with behaviour issues and complex trauma. Holly has experience working with participants struggling with drug and alcohol addictions, facilitating and assisting participants to attend rehab. Holly has experience with participants with high physical needs, intellectual disabilities, mental health and addiction throughout a range of age groups. She has worked along side stakeholders and allied health professionals to enhance the wellbeing of participants. Holly has a great insight in educating and training staff as she managed multiple group homes housing multiple participants.
Holly is currently in her fourth year of studying a Bachelor of Psychology, she has previously worked within the fitness industry for over four years certified by Tafe NSW. During this time Holly was passionate to delivering results to her clients through enhancing their wellbeing and motivating them to change their lifestyle to be healthier and fitter. Holly has personal trained individuals and groups of all ages and a range of disabilities; she has experience in supplement recommendations and dietary recommendations. Overall, Holly’s various experience allows her to develop behaviour support plans and training specific to the needs of each participant. Holly prides herself in her ability to gain a strong rapport and insight from participants, family members and support staff to best gain insight on the specific needs of every participant she works with. Creating in depth behaviour support plans and providing a high quality of guidance for the participant and their supporting staff.
