Sabine was born in Germany, where she was exposed from an early age to multicultural environments that shaped her appreciation for diversity and cultural inclusion. Being bilingual in German and English has given her a deep understanding of language and communication, particularly the challenges that come with navigating language barriers. Having experienced these challenges firsthand after relocating, she learned the importance of using alternative communication tools and strategies to connect meaningfully with others.
Her professional journey began in the fitness and wellbeing industry, where she developed skills in counselling, goal setting and general life coaching skills, helping individuals identify their personal motivations and wellbeing goals. She then transitioned into the corporate sector, progressing into management and team leadership roles, where she refined her interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
In addition to her professional experience, she is a published author of three books focused on native orchids and the environment, she studied Zoology and understands the importances of animal therapy. She has worked as a photographer and graphic designer in her own business. These creative pursuits reflect her attention to detail, patience, and ability to observe behaviour and environment closely – skills that are also highly valuable in behaviour support work.
At this stage she brings a diverse skill set, rich life experience, and a person-centred approach to her role as a Behaviour Support Practitioner within the NDIS framework. Her focus is on empowering individuals, supporting positive behavioural change, and fostering meaningful, respectful relationships.
