About Anna Tardent

Anna provides Support Coordination services for clients and is also a Director and Practice Manager of Insightful Impact. Anna has been at the forefront of providing and developing NDIS-funded disability supports to clients in the Blue Mountains for over 6 years. Anna held a leadership role in one of the largest local not-for-profit organisations operating across the Blue Mountains, and played a pivotal role in leading its transition from being a government-funded provider of disability services, to being a local provider of multiple NDIS-funded services that grew and expanded over time. Anna led and developed the staff team that provided NDIS-funded services, in particular support coordination, plan management, home modifications, and home maintenance. This team developed a strong reputation for providing high-quality, responsive, client-centered services, and was held in high regard by local service providers and clients alike. Anna successfully led this team and services through 3 external accreditations across 5 years.

Anna has been a member of the local peak body Nepean Blue Mountains Disability Round Table since its inception. She is also a member of the NBMDRT Employment for People with Disability sub-committee, and the Nepean Blue Mountains LHD Disability Consumer Council. Advocacy for people living with a disability, and local service providers are a core part of how Anna works in the sector. Anna has developed an extensive professional network across the Blue Mountains and the Greater Sydney area, and is able to draw on this network as part of providing services to her support coordination clients.

Anna also has long-term lived experience supporting a family member living with a disability and accessing NDIS supports. Passion is a word that tends to get thrown around in bios, but Anna really is, as a professional in the field and as a person, someone who is deeply passionate about providing client-centered services and supports to people living with a disability. Supports that really are about enabling clients to have choice and control. Supports that open up and enhance life for clients and the people who care for them. Give Anna a call – you’ll know what I mean in that first conversation.

Anna is in her 21st year of being a parent and advocate for someone with a disability Anna has spent 10 years working in community not-for-profit organisations with last 6 years specifically in disability.
