About Jordan Collins

Jordan is working as a Behaviour Practitioner with Insightful Impact which includes functional behaviour assessments, behaviour support plan development and training.

Jordan has 10 years of experience in the disability sector including case management and as a House Manager for 4 homes and 16 residents.

Jordan maintains his role as a support worker within supported accommodation to maintain his skills and remain grounded in his person-centred strategies he incorporates into his behaviour support plan.

Through curiosity and empathy Jordan explores why people show behaviours and what function they are trying to meet. He then builds behaviour support plans firstly to understand why people show behaviours, secondly to build responses and skill building strategies to minimize the risk or impact of these behaviours.

Jordan’s experience in management coupled with case work enables him to develop plans which meet the language and literacy levels of entry level staff by ensuring plans are understandable and implementable.
