About Jessica Dinsdale

Jessica is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with Insightful Impact, based in South Australia and providing services across Adelaide and surrounding regions. She also offers telehealth services nationwide, ensuring flexible access to behaviour support for individuals and families across Australia.

As an NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, Jessica delivers behaviour support within the context of National Disability Insurance Scheme–funded supports. This includes conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing behaviour support plans, and delivering training that equips support teams to respond in safe, respectful, and evidence-based ways.

With experience spanning youth work, mental health, trauma-informed care, and disability services, Jessica brings a uniquely holistic and human-centred approach. She has worked in roles such as 2IC Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Training Officer, Youth Worker, and Practice Leader in mental health services, supporting individuals with complex needs, neurodivergence, and high-intensity behaviours.

Her practice integrates trauma-informed Positive Behaviour Support with a whole-person approach, considering emotional, cognitive, physical, and environmental factors; to address the underlying function of behaviour and promote skill development, wellbeing, and independence. This allows Jessica to create behaviour support plans that are not only clinically sound but also practical, person-centred, and empowering for the individual and their support networks.
Jessica is committed to lifelong learning and ongoing professional development. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Social Work at Flinders University, continually building her knowledge and strengthening her ability to support individuals with complex needs. Her dedication to growth ensures her practice remains current, evidence-based, and responsive to the evolving needs of the people she supports.

She works collaboratively with individuals, families, and support teams to ensure strategies are realistic, respectful, and easy to implement. Her focus remains on enhancing quality of life, reducing restrictive practices, and fostering environments where individuals can thrive.
